5 leadership statements to improve your effectiveness

As a manager, always ask yourself: “Am I busy or am I effective”?

Here are 5 inspiring principles that will help you, as a manager, increase your effectiveness:

➡️ Your primary objective is to leave the place in a better state than when you received it.

In other terms, “plan for your successor”.

➡️ Your mission is to create the conditions for success.

Read: not to be the best specialist in the team.

➡️ Beware applying the HIPPO (or Highest Paid Person’s Opinion) too often.

Should you be the final decision-maker for every item?

And one of my favorites, since we’re only human and combining speed with excellence is always a tough one:

➡️ If everything seems under control, you’re not going fast enough – Mario Andretti.
